“ Making a difference is not doing the expected work with extraordinary talent.
It is to do unexpected jobs with ordinary skills.”

Science is not mathematics..
We are closing the week that started with a storm. The inflation report of the Central Bank shows that all hopes are pinned on the inflation announcements of TÜİK. Meanwhile, the claim that the exchange rate is determined in the free market also drew attention. It seems that technical issues in the country are also left to perception management.
At the beginning of the week, I explained the relationship between exports and exchange rates on television, citing examples from many countries including Japan. Then I said, "Only educated people can claim that there is no connection between exports and exchange rates." Those who consider science as only mathematics tend to interpret developments according to their own pleasure and think they are clever in showing visible facts as "non-existent" with mathematics. However, science is simply rationalizing recurring developments that we experience, discover, and are aware of while living, with the help of mathematics, and of course, finding solutions to problems.
Using mathematics to eliminate visible reality distances us from solutions. It makes solving problems more difficult before a great chaos emerges. Those who describe the current treatment unfortunately try to deny the visible truth with the help of mathematics while refusing to read the developments correctly. So, those of us involved in economic activities must take a position based on this reality.
The tone of the economic management saying "believe in us" turned from "you have no choice but to believe in us" a month ago to "don’t you dare not believing us" today. I attribute their insistence on inflation targets not to consistency but to the struggle they put up just to maintain their reputation. It is also necessary to mention that the statements made by TÜİK are scientifically unacceptable.
