It is unquestionable that the world will rest until the fire in the Middle East is put out. I do think no winner will emerge out of this conflict.
However, in the meantime, the US and the EU remain vulnerable to China and India’s attacks while they are dealing with the Greater Israel project.
The United States might soon lose its economic and technological leadership that it has preserving since 1871, and in order to reverse this possible future, the US government prefers listening to soldiers and bureaucrats rather than scientists and manufacturers.
Leading innovation since Thomas Jefferson, there has been in a diplomatic, scientific and economic downturn with Trump and Biden. The US deep state does not like Trump and is trying to prevent him from being elected once again.
On the other hand, the fact that Biden allows Israeli violence and submits to the will of the lobbying groups causes him to lose his worth and respectability in the eyes of the voters.

There is one important detail though: If Sweden’s application for membership is denied by the parliament of any NATO member country, the parliamentary outcomes of others become automatically void.
All it takes is one country to reject it. And that is why the Hungarian Parliament has been delaying the vote and waiting for Turkey to make the first move. If the Turkish Parliament does not accept Sweden’s accession to NATO, the Hungarians will say “no“ as well and send flowers to Russia.
The fact that Biden desperately wants that this Sweden problem be solved as soon as possible, which also prevents the influx of funds to help increase Turkey’s foreign currency reserves and bring equilibrium to the markets again, has attracted the attention of the Turkish Government.
Blinken’s visits to the region were also noted by Turkey. The unwelcoming reception of the US Secretary of State in Ankara and the fact that President Erdoğan did not meet with Blinken captured the world’s attention.
Two weeks ago, Turkish Government gave a loud and clear message: we know that the US and the EU owe material and moral debt to Israel, but we do not owe anything to Israel.

All these developments show that the mandate, which was proposed to the Turkish Parliament in 2003 and went down in history as the ‘1 March Mandate’, might be reconsidered by the government of Turkey.
The mandate involved “allowing the Government to make the necessary arrangements for the foreign air forces to use Turkish airspace for 6 months in accordance with the rules to be determined by the Turkish authorities, as part of a possible military operation pursuant to Article 92 of the Constitution”.
This article essentially allowed the presence of 62 thousand foreign military personnel, 255 aircraft and 65 helicopters in Turkey for a period of 6 months.
With the rejection of this mandate by the parliament, the US forces were unable to use Turkish territories and faced a serious logistical difficulty, failing to achieve the desired result in Iraq.
The same year, US soldiers attacked Turkish soldiers in Sulaymaniyah and the disgrace that went down in history as the “sack incident“ was interpreted as US retaliation for the decision of the Turkish Parliament.
Turkey-US relations have not improved for a long time after this incident. In fact, they still have not improved, and they are getting worse even.

Even though Turkey’s relations with the US had worsened, the government was trying to carry out the structural reforms on the way to EU accession. The value of the national currency, inflation and interest rates remained calm, and economic growth stabilised.
Turkey has been implementing security policies for a decade now to combat the terrorist organisations, and today Turkey no longer has real confidence in the US and the EU.
The Patriot missiles were not sold to Turkey despite its request, and therefore it had to purchase Russians’ S-400 missiles, which caused it to be removed from the F-35 project.
And it is just fair that Turkey is asking why Greece, which purchased the S-300 air defence system from Russia, was not treated in the same way.
Likewise, there is no longer any reason for Turkey to trust the EU, which portrays aiding and abetting terrorist organisations as “freedom“.
So, Turkey is on the brink of an important decision that will determine how long it will take to raise the standards of democracy and ensure economic prosperity.
Could the West lose Turkey to the East? Turkey is in a position to decide for itself which side to choose
New countries, along with China and India, are beginning to show their might in the global economy. However, in most of these countries, democracy means mere elections. Some even are governed through electoral autocracy.
Turkish people can only tolerate Westerners in their own country because of the double standards they impose on Turkey. Westerners do whatever they cannot do in their own countries whenever they are in the east.
The EU has become just a nice place to go for a vacation in the eyes of Turks. People are no longer curious about New York; they want to visit Shanghai or other places in Asia. Even Hollywood has abandoned the Chinese, Japanese, Russians, Latin Americans and Turks and started portraying their countrymen as villains in cinema.
Could the West lose Turkey to the East? I think Turkey is in a position to decide for itself which side to choose. Currently, Turkish citizens are put through difficult and long processes to get a visa to for go to the EU and the US.
EU countries are nothing short of hypocrites because they ask Turkish citizens to obtain a visa despite the fact that Turkey is a member of the Council of Europe.
I now understand why the US is called “a country full of adventures“. At the airport, the security officers may suddenly point at you and say, “Sir, step out of the queue for a minute and stand there“ and the adventure begins.
This is a country that allows its police force to kill innocent citizens on the grounds of an isolated threat. In America, anything can happen to you. There are laws, but they are applied on the basis of personal whim.
In this case, visiting eastern countries, which are governed by strict laws providing discipline and order, and discover its exotic traditions becomes the logical option.
Those who come from the East to the West learn about and respect the customs and traditions of the places they visit, one way or another. A similar education must be provided in the West as well to help western people to abandon the orientalist perspective
Westerners are disciplined as well, but we like them as “hotel managers“ or “food and beverage managers“, not as tourists staying in the room next to ours. Especially US citizens.
They are the ones who make a quiet town in Italy, a fjord in Norway, a restaurant in Morocco, or a hotel in Shanghai ring with wild laughter. Preventing the influx of funds to Turkey by using the Swedish question as an excuse, allowing the violence against civilians in Gaza, supporting terrorism, imposing sanctions…
If such practices continue, not only the Turks but also everyone else will develop a certain disaffection with the West.
The rapid depreciation of Turkish lira and the currencies of developing countries against US Dollar and Euro as a result of these behaviours made touristic visits to the US and the EU an “unachievable dream”, which also makes it difficult for different cultures to coexist harmoniously.
As long as the westerners going abroad show their worst behaviour, and as long as the easterners do not have the financial means to visit the West, they will know the EU and the US citizens only from the behaviour of incoming tourists.
Those who come from the East to the West learn about and respect the customs and traditions of the places they visit, one way or another.
A similar education must be provided in the West as well to help western people to abandon the orientalist perspective.
In this way, the mobility of money will increase, prosperity will be shared among both cultures, and it will be easier to achieve peace.
I don’t know if it would be possible for peoples to fix what politicians have corrupted, but I believe that as the number of sensible people increases, choices too will become more reasonable.
